Meet the Owners:
The Hamilton’s—From Our Family to Yours
Locally Owned and Operated
Together, The Hamilton’s are known for their friendly community-minded spirit and their love for family and friends. The couple lives locally where they are active in the community with their three children. Paul and Lori Hamilton chose to become the leadership team of Victory Place Senior Community in August of 2022 for many reasons. They wanted to lead a community where residents can have it all – friendships, independence and worry-free living, all among the convenience of downtown Plattsburgh, New York. You can expect to have all the luxuries of independent living in a community where the owners look forward to greeting you with a warm smile and genuine interest in your well-being.
Paul and Lori Hamilton have owned another senior community, 260 Lake St Senior Community in Rouses Point, NY, since early 2020 where they have grown to love independent living. They are proud all of the support and freedom that it can offer to the residents that call 260 Lake St home.
Paul Hamilton, RN, CWON, CFCN has a background in Pharmaceuticals and nursing. Paul also has previous experience working as the Administrator of an Assisted Living Community. Lori Hamilton has a degree in Business Administration and nearly 20 years of experience working for DSS.
Our vision empowers people to live the next best phase of their lives.
We want to encourage independence with thoughtfully planned high-quality amenities and ease of living to enable seniors to remain in their home with new friends, for as long as possible. And, our goal is to keep the cost down so that it remains affordable since the area’s assisted living options have high costs (and decreased independence).
For those seniors who don’t need a high degree of personal assistance, independent senior living at Victory Place may be your place to call home.
What is Independent Senior Living?
Independent living focuses on the social needs of residents and is for individuals who need limited support. It offers seniors a lifestyle filled with recreation, educational and social opportunities, and a low-stress lifestyle for the “golden years”.
We take care of the often costly and challenging chores of home exterior maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping, and interior maintenance/ repairs. No time needs to be carved out of your day for personal laundry, as we do that too! Although we can’t provide medical care or personal assistance for daily activities, you can privately arrange these services.
Living at Victory Place Senior Community offers you support, comfort/ security, delicious nutrition, and companionship. We acknowledge that deciding to leave your home is a huge one, and we want you to choose the best choice for you. The focus can be on doing what you love!
Our Staff
We only invite the best to our team
We are incredibly fortunate to have a passionate, dedicated group of individuals who make up our wonderful, cohesive, and compassionate team. Each staff member brings their unique experiences, personalities, and expertise to the table. Our cooks, housekeepers, dining room attendants, and managers make our community a place for our residents to relax, thrive, and find a reason each day to laugh and smile. Many staff members have been essential to our team for many years.
